The neighborhood is a mix of renovated homes, long-time residents, and ongoing revitalization. Like many urban areas, you may occasionally hear city sounds or see signs of city life nearby. Our home itself is fully renovated, family-friendly, and thoughtfully designed for a comfortable stay close to top Columbus attractions.

Like many urban areas, you may occasionally see signs of city life, including homelessness in the surrounding area. Our home itself has been fully renovated and thoughtfully designed to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay close to all that Columbus has to offer. You may also occasionally hear: • Sirens from nearby emergency vehicles • Street traffic • Neighbors enjoying their evenings outdoors To help create a relaxing indoor environment, we provide noise machines in each bedroom. ⸻ 🔐 Security For your safety, we have two outdoor security cameras with audio: • One at the front door • One in the backyard These are used for security purposes only and do not record or face any interior spaces. ⸻ Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, family vacation, or just some well-deserved fun, The Play Haus offers the perfect blend of color, comfort, and play. Other Details to Note

Winter Note: During the winter season, some outdoor furniture and amenities may be stored for protection. We salt the driveway and walkways before your arrival, and we also provide a snow shovel and ice melt for your convenience, as weather conditions can change quickly. ⸻ Rental Agreement: The primary guest (the person booking the reservation) is required to complete a rental agreement after booking to confirm the stay. This is a standard verification step for all guests and must be signed prior to check-in. A valid government-issued ID matching the booking name may be requested for verification. ⸻ Security Deposit: A refundable $300 security deposit will be required for all reservations as part of our standard reservation verification process. • When it’s collected: A hold is securely placed through our guest portal prior to check-in. • When it’s released: Automatically released after checkout, provided no damages, missing items, or policy violations occur. • Processing: Securely handled through our guest portal as part of the reservation verification process.

Getting around Columbus is easy from The PlayHaus! Most major attractions are within a 5–15 minute drive including Downtown Columbus, German Village, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Short North, OSU, Nationwide Arena, and Huntington Park. Uber and Lyft are readily available, and there is free parking available at the home.
